Meet Our Team
Mobeen R.
Founder
Mobeen obtained his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the Max Planck Institute, Dortmund, Germany. He carried out several postdoctoral fellowships across Europe and Canada. Later, Mobeen was trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for clients facing addiction and mental health issues, homelessness, poverty, and food insecurity. He is currently serving as a Scientists in School Presenter across the Greater Toronto Area and Durham region. In his free time, Mobeen likes to play tennis, jog/run, spend time with his family and cockatiels and budgies.
Fariz A.
Program Promoter/Volunteer
Fariz is a CPA from CPA Ontario and fellow Certified Chartered Accountant -UK. He is currently working with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada in the IT Audit division. During the Pandemic, he became ambitious to work towards environmental and sustainable programs, including food waste and food insecurity. Fariz is a bird enthusiast and owns two budgies, a cockatiel, and an Indian Ring Neck. He also enjoys playing tennis, badminton, running, painting, and redesign clothing.
Behdad K.
Volunteer
Behdad is an architectural designer. He obtained his M. Arch graduation from the Politecnico di Milano in Millan, Italy. He is a kitchen, cabinet, and vanity designer/drafter. He is very dedicated to Toronto Feed programs in fighting food insecurity.
Luke P.
Volunteer
Luke graduated from the police foundation program at Seneca College. He acquired experience in customer service. He also is a certified Ontario Security Guard. Among his recent duties, he has assisted customers with groceries and collecting shopping carts. Luke believes in effective and polite communication with people. He is passionate about helping people with their daily life needs. This is one of the big reasons he is always eager to help with food drives.

Jill is a Registered Social Service Worker in Toronto, specializing in housing follow-up support. With a deep passion for advocating for basic human rights, Jill is committed to making a positive impact both professionally and personally. When Jill isn’t working she is a devoted mother of two daughters and an animal and nature lover. She enjoys going for hikes, travelling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Ralph T.
Volunteer
Ralph is an IT Analyst that has been volunteering since 2013, giving to orphanages and supporting those in need in various countries he has been living in. Now a proud volunteer at Save the Bread since April 2024, he helps in collecting essential resources for individuals and families facing hardship. For Ralph, volunteering is more about connecting with others and making a positive impact in the community. He encourages everyone to get involved, reminding us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Save the Bread is grateful for Ralph’s dedication to uplifting those in need.

​Garcia obtained her College Diploma in Health Sciences from Sheridan College. She obtained another Diploma in Biomedical Engineering from Centennial College. She is working as an area manager at Blue Sky Cleaning in Scarborough. She is extremely dedicated to helping underprivileged communities in meeting their basic needs, especially food security.

Julio works in construction, drywall installation, metal frames, and ceiling T-bars. He is passionate about helping the community and feeding the needy.
